CABARET TONIGHT NYC: STREISAND: AN INTIMATE EVENING
Award-winning Barbra Streisand tribute artist Carla DelVillaggio returns to THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909 - ) on Thursday, July 25th at 7:30 pm in STREISAND: AN INTIMATE EVENING. A musical retrospective of Barbra Streisand's 50+ years in show business, this intimate evening takes you from the beginning of Barbra's career in the 1960's all the way up to today, including all of the songs you have known and loved, along with some that might not be as familiar. DelVillagio will perform such favorites as "Don't Rain on My Parade," "People," "The Way We Were," and "Evergreen." Her uncanny vocal skills and personal resemblance to Streisand makes for a startling cabaret experience. Carla DelVillaggio is one of the most successful Barbra Streisand tribute artists in the country, appearing regularly in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and around the United States. Her many awards include the Agent's Best Impressed Award (2008, 2010, 2011, Sunburst Convention, Orlando); Best Overall Celebrity Re-creation Award (2009, 2010, 2011, Sunburst); Rising Star Award (2009, The Reel Awards, Las Vegas); and the Best Showcase Gold Award (2011, Sunburst).
