NYC: ADAM GWON & FRIENDS AT 54 BELOW
Rising-star musical theater writer Adam Gwon brings his fresh and funny songs to 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) for a one-night-only concert extravaganza on Monday, April 8th at 9:30 pm. Heading up a five-piece band, Adam premieres brand-new songs and shares tunes from his musicals Ordinary Days, Cloudlands, The Boy Detective Fails, and String. Joined by some of Broadway's brightest stars, including Liz Callaway, Santino Fontana, Betsy Wolfe, Lindsay Mendez, Kate Shindle, Kate Wetherhead, Phoebe Strole, Anne Nathan, Alex Wyse, and many more, the evening is directed by Drama Desk nominee Ed Sylvanus Iskandar and produced by Katie Riegel. Come out for a heartfelt and irreverent celebration of one guy's precarious climb up the show-biz ladder, and the friends he's made along the way. There is a $20-$30 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
