Every second Wednesday of the month Leslie Holmes hosts an amazing Open Mic night at the AMAZING THINGS ARTS CENTER(160 Hollis Street, Framingham, MA - 508-405-2787), and each show features a special guest. On Wednesday, April 10th the featured guest will be the talented singer/ pianist/ composer/ medical clown/ fiddler Joyce Friedman. Joyce Friedman has been a singer and pianist in the Boston area for over thirty years. Most recently, she wrote her second one-woman show, Finding Miriam, which she performs at many Boston area venues to critical acclaim. Many of us have enjoyed her performances at both Amazing Things and BACA Open Mics. Joyce Friedman has been a singer and pianist in the Boston area for over thirty years. The open-mic starts at 7:00 pm (signup at 6:30 pm), and the featured performers go on at 8:10 pm. Doug Hammer will be at the piano for the rest of us singers. There is an $10 cover charge ($9 cover for BACA members).
