DC: BOSSALINGO WITH ORIGINAL MUSIC AT GERMANO'S
Inspired by the sounds and rhythms of Argentina, Cuba and Brazil, Bossalingo performs their original music at CABARET AT GERMANO'S (300 South High Street, Baltimore, MD - 410-752-4515 - ) on Friday, April 19th at 7:30 pm. Bossalingo performs with passion, using the common language of Jazz improvisation to unite all of these amazing styles into an unforgettable experience for the listener. The group performs selections from the recent Bossalingo release, "Steps Beyond", as well as some earlier originals from the first record and various Jazz standards. The styles of Tango, Jazz, Rumba, Samba, Milongo, Bossa Nova, Tumbao, and Guaguanco are all featured throughout the show. The current line up features Baltimore composer/guitarist, Michael Joseph Harris, Didier Prossaird on piano, bassist Steve Zerlin, and drummer Mike Kuhl. Call for cover/minimum information.
