Robert Rodi brings his show "The Sound of Music, Man" toDAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Wednesday, April 17th at 8:00 pm. This show is a follow ip of his acclaimed "My Fair Lady, Man" show and with another jazz and Beat-poetry retelling of a musical-theatre classic - this time Rodgers & Hammerstein's mammoth hit. Featuring the entire score as you've never heard it before, including "Do-Re-Me," "Climb Ev'ry Mountain," "The Lonely Goatherd," "Sixteen Going On Seventeen," "My Favorite Things," and more, in styles ranging from swing to samba to gospel.
