CHI: SONGS I HEARD ON DAD'S HI-FI, WITH DUNCAN MOORE

CHI: SONGS I HEARD ON DAD'S HI-FI, WITH DUNCAN MOORE

Dunkin Moore brings his show Songs I Heard on Dad's Hi-Fi to DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Monday, April 1st at 8:00 pm. Between 1958 and 1970, composers for movies, Broadway, jazz and rock gave us a wealth of memorable tunes and lyrics. Dunkin's father, a sometime bass player, filled the family room with the sounds of Dave Brubeck, Henry Mancini, Burt Bacharach, Lennon-McCartney, and many others. Now Dunkin will bring some fresh interpretations of these classics from the golden age. Musical director is Mark Burnell. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
