NYC: ALTON FITZGERALD WHITE CD RELEASE SHOW AT 54 BELOW
Known for his long run as Mufasa in Disney's The Lion King on Broadway, Alton Fitzgerald White will celebrate the release of his new CD at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551 - ) on Monday, November 5th at 9:30 pm. The show features brand new arrangements of treasured Disney favorites. Included are his own take on classics such as Feed the Birds (Mary Poppins) and A Whole New World (Aladdin), as well as more contemporary tunes from the Disney catalogue, including Fortune Favors the Brave (Aida), Strangers Like Me (Tarzan), and even the lesser known, The Long, Long Day, (King David). Listening to these selections all together is like spending an evening with old friends. There is a $20-$30 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
