NYC: NICOLE LUPARELLI SINGS BOWIE AT THE MET
Boston Chanteuse Niki Luparelli sings the songs of David Bowie with the Gold Diggers at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) on Thursday, September 6th at 7:00 pm. The show is a loving cabaret tribute to the thin, white Duke. It has been said that Bowie was obsessed with the Berlin Cabaret scene while he lived there in the 70s working on what later became known as the Berlin Trilogy of albums (Low, Heroes, and Lodger). Many feel that cabaret changed his writing and performance style forever. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
