NYC: LYNN HALLIDAY - MY HEART BELONGS TO MARY
Lynne Halliday pays tribute to the legendary Mary Martin, leading lady of the Golden age of American Musical Theatre, in an evening directed and written by Steve Cole, with the amazing David Krane as music director at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Friday, September 7th at 7:00 pm and Wednesday, September 12th at 7:00 pm. Miss Martin's career spanned 40 years- 40 years of thrilling audiences-on stage and in the movies- and devoting her life to helping us all find the Neverland within ourselves. Miss Halliday starred in the York Theate's hit show "Porterphiles"- a revue of unpublished Cole Porter songs. She also appeared as "the Voice" in American Ballet Theatre's world-premiere ballet "Weren't We Fools?", choreographed by Christian Holder.
