NYC: DEBUT OF COUNTRY POP VOCAL TRIO BLUE SKY RIDERS

NYC: DEBUT OF COUNTRY POP VOCAL TRIO BLUE SKY RIDERS

FEINSTEIN'S at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue, NYC - 212-339-4095) presents the debut engagement of BLUE SKY RIDERS, the pop vocal trio conceived by legendary musician Kenny Loggins, Nashville's Georgia Middleman (who has penned songs for Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney & Reba McEntire) and Country Music Hall of Fame writer Gary Burr on Tuesday through Saturday, September 26th through 29th at 8:00 pm, with late shows at 10:30 pm on Friday & Saturday. The trio will be performing songs from their upcoming debut album, Blue Sky Riders, scheduled to be released on January 22, 2013. Select singles from the album will be available in September 2012. The band's Live At The Rutledge EP is currently available for purchase on iTunes. The creative spark that eventually evolved into Blue Sky Riders was struck when veteran singer/songwriters Kenny Loggins and Gary Burr began working on songs together. Their chemistry as songwriters and their work together inspired them both to want to go another round with the music industry. Loggins, looking for a creative step forward in his musical career, decided to take on the challenge to form a new band but wanted to add a third, female voice. Burr, who has been named Songwriter of the Year by ASCAP, Billboard and NSAI and has worked with artists such as Juice Newton, Conway Twitty and Wynonna Judd, suggested singer/songwriter Georgia Middleman, who has worked with Keith Urban, Faith Hill and Martina McBride among others. Georgia accepted Gary and Kenny's invitation to join them in this new venture, and Blue Sky Riders was born. There is a $40-$60-$75 cover plus a $40 food/drink minimum.
