NYC: THE BIRDLAND BIG BAND AT BIRDLAND
The BIRDLAND Big Band, Directed by Tommy Igoe with Guest Conductor Rob Middleton performs atBIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080) on Fridays at 5:00 pm, playing a thrilling and original mix of jazz, funk, Brazilian, Latin, and world music for sold-out audiences. Featured weekly guest artists drop-in from television bands ("Late Show with David Letterman," "Saturday Night Live") and pop music touring bands (Rob Thomas, Rod Stewart) There is a $25 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum.
