CHI: CLAUDIA HOMMEL IN SOPHISTICATED LADIES AT THE SHOWCASE
Bethany Pickens, Marlene Rosenberg, Sarah Allen perform "The Ladies Who Swing" at THE JAZZ SHOWCASE (806 South Plymouth Court, Chicago, IL - 312-360-0234) on Monday, April 9th, with sets from 8:00 to 11:00 pm. Special guests are Ava Logan, Tecora Rogers, Gretchen Marsh along with the series' regular singers: KT McCammond, Elizabeth Doyle, Claudia Hommel. Jazz women come out swinging in a jam session featuring some of Chicago's finest vocalists and instrumentalists. "The Ladies Who Swing" will be led at the piano by Bethany Pickens, bassist Marlene Rosenberg and drummer Sarah Allen. There is a $15-$25 cover.
