NYC: SF'S CARLY OZARD MAKES NYC DEBUT
San Francisco favorite Carly Ozard brings her show "Somebody to Love: My Musical Tribute to Freddie Mercury" to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 on Friday, February 25th at 7:30 pm. This show is about Freddie Mercury, rock tenor and frontman of Queen,and Carly's love for this performer, who was unstoppable, the man behind one of the most iconic bands of rock history. Carly will be Queen For A Day, paying homage to her musical idol, and sharing historic and unknown facts about Mercury's public and personal lifestyle, with special guest star Katya Smirnoff-Skye and musical direction by Joe Wicht. The show includes popular songs from Queen's extensive repertoire, as well as solo work written by Freddie Mercury without Queen. Rare musical material and collaborations will be featured in this tribute to the rock tenor who flaunted his four-octave range, charmed his audiences, and lived his 45 years to the fullest. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
