TODAY IN NYC: MARK JANAS' SALON WITH SPECIAL GUEST KAREN OBERLIN
Mark Janas' Salon will return on Sunday, August 29th at ETCETERA ETCETERA(352 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-399-4141) from 7:00 to 10:30 pm (signup starts at 6:15 pm). The Salon is where singers, writers and musicians share their talent with each other and audience members. The next Salon is on Sunday, August 29th from 7:00 to 10:30 pm (signup starts at 6:15 pm) and the optional theme for the evening will be "World Cruise". Co-host will be Adam Shapiro and special guest will be Karen Oberlin. As always, the theme is only a suggestion; you may perform anything you like in any musical genre: Broadway, pop, rock, country, jazz, classical, etc. Salon will continue every Sunday through August. There is a $10 cash cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum. THERE WILL BE NO SALON SEPTEMBER 5TH OR SEPTEMBER 12TH
