L.A.AREA: CISSY CONNER AT BLAME IT ON MIDNIGHT
Cissy Conner, singer, impressionist, actress, and comedienne will appear on Sunday, June 27th at 8:00 pm at BLAME IT ON MIDNIGHT (777 East Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, CA - 760-323-1200), joined by Charlie Creasy. No stranger to the cabaret circuit, she has spent most of her 'nightlife' in Chicago and LA (Lower Alabama). Most recently, she performed the one-woman show "Tea at Five" by Matthew Lombardo based on Katharine Hepburn's life story at Whitmore-Lindley Theatre Center in the NoHo Arts District. Before that she garnered rave reviews as Marlene Dietrich in "Dietrich & Chevalier, the Musical" at The Santa Monica Playhouse. Cissy Conner and her cast of characters, including a dead-on Cher, and the wacky stewardess Taffy Pull, will be laying over for a night filled with gaiety and laughter. There is a $10 cover plus a $10 minimum.
