OPEN LETTER TO ALL WHO HELPED IN MY 19TH BIRTHDAY SHOW

I am just now collecting my thoughts over Thursday night's event - I left the THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATER (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909 ) with a heart filled with gratitude to all who worked to make the show "one of the best ever" according to Don Schaffer - who sees a lot of shows. Thank you all again! (more on this in Monday's issue)

Special thanks to Phil Bonds and Kenny Bell, who run the club - for putting up with us for another year. This is truly a professionally run operation where they anticipate your every need. And no one in this town does lights & sounds better than Joey Pier - a master at the light/sound board and a swell guy to work with.

And a huge special thanks to the folks who stepped forth early on and donated sponsorships for the show - covering in advance every penny of expense and making it possible for us to concentrate on the production side and let the tickets sell themselves. We weren't under pressure to fill the room, but it happened anyway.

The 19th Birthday Party of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE was sponsored in part by Raisa Katona Bennett , Suzanne Carrico, Chelsea's Desktop, Inc. - Chelsea Hudgins, Grace Cosgrove, Creative Minds Productions, Teresa Fischer, Marty Geiger, Eric Michael Gillett, Laura Hull, and Jim Van Slyke. Thank you all once more!

And to the performers: I could see from your faces while you performing that you were trying to do your best for this audience filled with the cream of cabaret - performers and fans. This added a special excitement to the show - and an extra thank you from me.

To Tracy Stark: working under pressure, accompanying many performers you have never worked with before (including presenting a few songs that had their premiere at the show), you are magnificent. Everything that was "thrown at you" you took in stride. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.
