4-time MAC Award winning comic Nancy Witter is back at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Friday night, March 27th at 7:00 pm with her comedy show called 'Nancy Witter's Killer Comedy Show!' She will be presenting a cast of talented funny comedians for a fun show. There's new talent, growing talent, and some old pros. You'll see the hilarious national and international comedy headliner Maureen Langan, the unique musical sylings of Steve Zelin "The Singing CPA", the up and coming Annie Witter, and making his Don't Tell Mama debut the very funny Fred Feibusch, plus the talented multi-award winning cabaret legend Sidney Myer and all hosted by the funny, charming Darcy Novick. The Dana Lorge Variety Show returns to the THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Friday, March 27th at 7:00 pm. Dana is joined on stage by Barry Levitt on piano and Jon Burr on bass along with special guests: Russ Weatherford, Eric Rudy, Ira Lee Collings, Jeffrey Gurian, Minda Larsen, Randie Levine-Miller and Jillian Laurain. The show is directed by John Paolillo and written by Dorothy Bishop and James Jorden. NYC: RESTATED AT THE DUPLEX!

The vocal group Restated will make its debut at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Friday, March 27th at 9:30 pm. Since its inception in 2007, Restated has made a name for itself as one of New York City's premier a cappella groups, and prides itself on its powerful, audience-pleasing sound, innovative arrangements and strong voices. The group has won numerous awards for its work, including several Contemporary A cappella Recording Awards. The group's first album, "No Political Affiliation," was released in 2011 (as The Red States); Restated will release its second album this year. There is a $10 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: SELENE LUNA: JUMBO SHRIMP AT THE BEECHMAN

Diminutive burlesque star and comic dynamo Selene Luna (Margaret Cho's The Cho Show, My Bloody Valentine 3D) brings her latest night of standup comedy to New York's THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Friday & Saturday, March 27th & 28th at 7:30 pm. A trail-blazing little person in the entertainment world, Selene Luna, at 3'10", is a small package with a very big presence. Comic /host /writer /burlesque artist /broadcaster /model /actor /activist, Selene cut her teeth performing in clubs and art venues, and quickly became a darling of Hollywood's underground scene. An original member of the Velvet Hammer Burlesque, Luna tours internationally and performs regularly with the undisputed Queen of Burlesque, Dita Von Teese. Luna is probably best known for her role in Lionsgate's feature, My Bloody Valentine 3D, and her role as Margaret Cho's assistant in VH1's The Cho Show - a performance that landed her a nomination for MTV LOGO's NewNowNext: Brink of Fame: Comic Award. To date, Luna has written and performed six original one-woman shows, most recently Born to Be Alive, produced by the Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center. NYC: POPSSICAL WITH WELL-STRUNG

The all-male string quartet Well-Strung returns to 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Friday, March 27th at 9:30 pm. The quartet has been receiving rave reviews at 54 Below and all over the world, from the House of Blues in New Orleans to the Leicester Square Theatre in London. Well-Strung's brand new show Popssical, directed by Donna Drake, is written by the quartet. It includes musical arrangements by David Levinson, Well-Strung and Bruce Carter with videos by Randy Rainbow. The foursome features classical musicians who sing and in "Popssical" the group puts their own spin on the music of Mozart, Beethoven, Ravel, U2, Miley Cyrus, One Direction, Madonna and more. Highlights include U-2's "With or Without You," Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah, One Direction's That's What Makes You Beautiful, one of Beethoven's Razumovsky Quartets and the Ravel string quartet in F major. NYC: A NIGHT WITH KENT STATE UNIVERSITY

A Night with Kent State University, celebrating the Kent State Musical Theatre program, will be presented at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Friday, March 27th at 11:30 pm as part of the club's Late Night Series. This one night only concert features Kent State University undergrads as well as alumni Elizabeth Casper (Rock of Ages, Hair, Grease), Justin Gentry (Saturday Night Fever), Danny Caraballo (Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story), Colleen Longshaw (Kiss Me, Kate) and Sarah Roussos (Hairspray). The performance will be directed by John Moauro (Hair) with music direction by Vincent Ester. There is a $15-$30 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.

NYC: ERIC YVES GARCIA AT CAFE NOCTAMBULO AT PANGEA

Eric Yves Garcia will be debuting a world premiere of his brand new show at CAFE NOCTAMBULO AT PANGEA(178 Second Avenue, NYC - 212-995-0900) on Friday, March 27th at 7:00 & 9:00 pm.Eric will perform this same show at Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL a few days later. Garcia grew up in Red Bank, NJ, and started playing piano when he was 7. He trained as an actor at Fordham University at Lincoln Center and performs consistently in a variety of film projects (independent features, commercials, web/corporate). He has had several bookings in New York City, specializing in the American Songbook, jazz and standards. FEATURED CABARET ORGANIZATION EVENT

MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets) has announced the presenters that are scheduled to appear at the 29th Annual MAC Awards on Thursday, March 26th at BB KING'S BLUES CLUB (237 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-997-4144). Scheduled to appear are: Kenny Bell, Raissa Katona Bennett, Julie Budd, Peter Calo, Eric Comstock, Frank Dain, Jamie deRoy, Natalie Douglas, Barbara Fasano, John Daniel Forslund, David Friedman, Bernie Furshpan, Kim Grogg, Rick Jensen, Randy Jones, Barb Jungr, Lina Koutrakos, Brett Kristofferson, Lorinda Lisitza, Karen Mack, John McDaniel, Tanya Moberly, Marissa Mulder, Sidney Myer, Marissa Porto, Julie Reyburn, Ruby Rims, Ricky Ritzel, Billie Roe, Julie Salaman, Adam B. MAC will present the Ruth Kurtzman Benefit Series Award to the "Winter Rhythms" series at Urban Stages. 

The show will be hosted by Karen Mason. The Musical Director is Barry Levitt, who will lead the MAC Awards Band. Lennie Watts is the Director, and Julie Miller is the Producer. The Stage Manager is Amy Wolk.

Celebrating the most optimistic of the seasons - the blossoming of buds, the warble of the lark and the first thrilling swoop of the swallow - Claire Martin and Joe Stilgoe are back at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) with 'It Might As Well Be Spring' on Tuesday through Saturday, March 24th through 28th at 8:00 pm. Following complete sell-outs in 2013 and 2014, Martin and Stilgoe bring their joyous song, smutty banter and splendid jazz plumage to Crazy Coqs once more! Songs include "It Might As Well Be Spring", "Spring Is Here", "April In Paris" and "Blue Skies", songs from giants such as Rodgers & Hammerstein, Irving Berlin, Fran Landesman, Lennon & McCartney and Randy Newman. Benoit Viellefon presents his Hot Club, inspired by the hot swinging music that emerged from the infamous Parisian Cafes and nightclubs of the 1920s & '30s, at THE PHEASANTRY (152-154 King's Road, London SW3 4UT - 08456 027 017) on Wednesday, March 26th at 8:30 pm. "Pompie's Place," a unique pop-up blues supper-club is taking up residence at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) in April. Produced by Arthur Pompesello, "Pompie's Place" is an immersive nightclub experience transporting audiences to a mythic blues room of another time and place, in which the food is hot and the music even hotter! The five scheduled performances are Sunday & Monday April 12th & 13th, both at 7:00 pm; Sunday May 10th (Mother's Day) at 1:00 pm; Monday May 11th at 7:00 pm, and Thursday, May 28th at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $65, which includes a three-course Cajun meal.

Broadway and cabaret star Karen Mason joins a host of MAC and Bistro Award-winning artists singing to benefit the special needs children of PS177Q, to be held at THE ROBIN SUE WARD SCHOOL FOR EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN (56-37 188th Street Fresh Meadows, NY) on Saturday, April 25th. Other first-time performers at this benefit, now in its sixth year, are Karen Oberlin, Marcus Simeone and Susan Winter. Returning this year are 2015 Bistro Award Winner, Marissa Mulder and long-time NYC cabaret favorite Phyllis Pastore. The cast is completed by returning performers Tom Gamblin, master of ceremonies Warren Schein, and Robert Gino, a PS177Q therapist who is the driving force behind this event, which has raised over $60,000 to date. Tracy Stark is musical director with Marco Brehm on bass. The night also includes a raffle with prizes including tickets to Disney's Aladdin on Broadway, a champagne sunset cruise on a 47-foot sailboat yacht a music basket including signed CDs from the evening's performers plus many more raffle baskets. Mary Wilson returns to THE ROYAL ROOM at THE COLONY HOTEL (155 Hammond Avenue, Palm Beach, FL - 561-659-8100) on Tuesday through Saturday, March 24th through 28th at 8:00 pm. It was a vision of musical stardom as a Detroit teen that inspired Mary Wilson to co-found one of the most successful female singing groups in recording history • The Supremes. With an unprecedented 12 number-one hits, including "Where Did Our Love Go," "Baby Love," "Come See About Me" and "Stop, In The Name Of Love," The Supremes set the precedent for super group success. Wilson also has written a best-selling autobiography, performed on stage and screen, lectured and toured the world, and continues to be looked up to as a singer who set the standard for females in the recording industry. Liz Smith called her "the sexiest and most attractive of the three original Supremes (and) a true survivor." NYC: JAZZ LEGEND ANNIE ROSS TUESDAYS THE METROPOLITAN ROOM

Jazz legend Annie Ross continues her unprecedented, record-breaking, multi-year run at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440), every Tuesday night at 9:30 pm. Ms. Ross has been an abundant contributor to the art of jazz for over 50 years. Born in the UK, she has been a permanent resident of the USA for many years and a US citizen since 2001. Annie Ross is one of the pioneers of vocalese and the composer of "Twisted", one of the most well known examples of that art, as well as "Farmers Market", "Jackie" and many others. A founding member of Lambert, Hendricks and Ross, considered the greatest jazz vocal ensemble of all time, her influence is present in all subsequent practitioners of vocalese. "Twisted" has been recorded by a host of vocalists, including some not normally associated with jazz, including Joni Mitchell and Bette Midler. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: MARTHA LORIN AND JON WEBER AT DON'T TELL MAMA

Jazz vocalist Martha Lorin and NPR's Jon Weber will present 'Songs from The American Standards Songbook' at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Tuesday, March 24th at 7:00 pm. Singer/ Lyricist/ Songwriter Martha Loren and Jon Weber, rising star of the NPR's Piano Jazz, will entertain with a program that will include standards as well as a few lesser known songs written by American composers. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: 54 SINGS CHILDREN OF EDEN

Children of Eden, one of the world's most performed musicals despite its never having been on Broadway, will be performed in concert at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Tuesday, March 24th with shows at 7:00 & 9:30 pm. The story and score are among the most beloved of all time. LONDON: CHARLES STROUSE WITH SPECIAL GUEST BONNIE LANGFORD

Legendary composer Charles Strouse will perform at THE PHEASANTRY (152-154 King's Road, London SW3 4UT - 08456 027 017) on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday, March 22nd, 23rd & 24th at 8:30 pm. These special and very rare London cabaret performances will feature a special guest appearance by one of Britain's leading musical theatre stars, Bonnie Langford, who will join Strouse to perform several of his classic songs. Strouse is perhaps best known as the composer of the hit musicals 'Annie' and 'Bye Bye Birdie'. His music has attracted top recording artists such as Barbra Streisand, Frank Sinatra, Jay•Z, Louis Armstrong, and Duke Ellington. He has written scores for over 30 stage musicals, including 14 for Broadway. He has been inducted to the Songwriters and the Theatre Halls of Fame. He is a three•time Tony Award winner, a two•time Emmy Award winner, and his cast recordings have earned him two Grammy Awards. Call for cover/minimum information.
