NYC: MIRANDA MUSIC ARTIST MARCUS SIMEONE RELEASES HIS LATEST ALBUM
Miranda Music, Inc. CEO, Kitty Skrobela, is thrilled to announce the release of Marcus Simeone's sixth CD - 'Together' on Friday, November 18th at 7:00 pm at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909). Simeone, the multi-award-winning vocal powerhouse, combines his considerable talent with other A-list Miranda recording stars, including Stacy Sullivan, Karen Oberlin, Hilary Kole, Sean Harkness, Lina Koutrakos and more. 'Together – A Celebration of Music, Friends, and the Miranda Family' features Simeone with Peter Calo, Albert Cardone, Kathleen France,Greg Kay Jones, Hilary Kole, Sue Matsuki, Marissa Mulder, Karen Oberlin, Maria Ottavia and Stacy Sullivan, with musicians Marco Brehm, Rex Benincasa and Music Director Tracy Stark. Featuring Simeone's 5-octave tenor, Together pairs the singer with eleven extraordinary duet partners, under the musical direction of long-time pianist and collaborator, Tracy Stark. Songs range from classics like "With a Song in My Heart" to pop favorites, such as "Your Precious Love," to a gentle poke in the ribs from cabaret darling Bobbie Horowitz, "Scheduling in New York." Together's journey began as a single duet album but eventually morphed into its final form after some initial complications. The vocal tracks were deleted and re-recorded. The result is an eclectic mix of musical magic filled with varied delightful and exhilarating vocal and instrumental sounds. Together is now available on Amazon, and will soon be on CD Baby, iTunes, and all digital download and streaming services. For the November 18 event, there is a $10 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.

NYC: BROADWAY NEWCOMER DANIELLE HERBERT PAYS TRIBUTE TO THE LEGENDARY EARTHA KITT AT DON'T TELL MAMA
Singer/Actor Danielle Herbert, last seen on Broadway in the Tony-nominated Broadway hit AFTER MIDNIGHT, will debut her one-woman tribute "EARTHA KITT: I'M STILL HERE!" at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Friday, November 18th at 9:30 pm and Sunday, November 20th at 3:00 pm. Herbert was recently featured in season 3 of the hit Netflix TV series, Orange is the New Black, as "Babs Babson." Prior to that, she made her Broadway debut in the hit Duke Ellington musical, AFTER MIDNIGHT, where she covered a rotating roster of guest-stars, including Fantasia Barrinno, K.D Lang, Toni Braxton, Vanessa Williams, and Patti Labelle. She starred for one week in her own right and also stepped in for Broadway star Adriane Lenox, showcasing her comedic chops. Herbert has also sung back-up vocals for Grammy-winning R&B singer Jill Scott. For the cat-friendly and curious-minded, "EARTHA KITT: I'M STILL HERE!" will showcase Kitt's music ranging from her more obscure tunes to the most iconic songs that put her on the map, while sharing humorous anecdotes from her life. Acclaimed jazz/cabaret performers Eric Comstock and Barbara Fasano have been instrumental in helping Herbert build the show from scratch. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
