After 4 sold-out performances at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE(61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) in February and April of this year, Kelley Karel, dead ringer Hillary Clinton impersonator, and musical theatre/ opera singer and actor, brings her brand new fun-packed, laugh-a-minute, musical comedy political romp, with surprise appearances by ersatz Donald Trump, Bill Clinton and Anderson Cooper, to the THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) for two shows only. Show dates and times are: Saturday, October 29th at 1:00 pm and Monday, November 7th at 9:30 pm. Other performers include Samantha Northart, a graduate of the prestigious Cincinnati School for Creative and Performing Arts and a multi-talented singer/ actor who has performed in national regional theatres and major cruise ship lines as lead vocalist and Justin Liebergen, a singer/actor/writer with extensive experience in film, theater and harness flying - really, harness flying. Musical Director, Jason Wynn, is a composer/ lyricist/ singer/ actor. He is a MAC Award Winner for Best Special Material for "Not Another Cabaret" and was a MAC Award nominee for Best Song, "Living Without Love." He also won an OOBR Award for BERLIN TO BROADWAY WITH KURT WEILL and an IT Award for Music Direction. He has also enjoyed an extremely successful run of his own music, lyrics & book show, BACK AGAIN. Special musical material is by composer/ lyricist and political satirist, Robert Yarnall and theatre producer, composer/ lyricist and multiple Mac Award winner, Bobbie Horowitz. David Friedman, Broadway and film composer/ lyricist/ conductor, author and lecturer made an incalculable contribution to the production with his music, humor and parodied lyrics. ••Broadway Veteran and Metropolitan Opera Singer, Chuck Karel is directing, and co-wrote with his wife, Kelley Karel, the book for the show. Chuck's Broadway credits include the original Hello Dolly, Dear World, Anthony Quinn's revival of Zorba, among others, and the film version of The Music Man.
