NYC: LYNN HENDERSON SALUTES SONGWRITERS AT DON'T TELL MAMA - SEPTEMBER 25th
Lynn Henderson will be sharing songs by Jerry Herman, Charles Aznavour, Billy Joel, The Gershwins, Doug Cohen, Amanda McBroom and many more in her new show at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Sunday, September 25th - all shows at 7:00 pm. She is joined on stage by Douglas J. Cohen, winner of the Noël Coward Prize, Fred Ebb Award and two Richard Rodgers awards will accompany Lynn on piano & vocals, joined by bassist, Bob Sabin; Bassist: Robert Sabin; and Guest Artists: dancer Christine Perone, owner and lead singer (with Lance Zitron) of the popular Stomp Society Swing Band in NYC; and tapper Aaron Tolson. Director is Barry Kleinbort and Associate Director is Michael Lee Stever. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

Bistro Award and MAC Award Winning Performer, and Six-Time MAC Award Winning Producer, the acclaimed Tanya Moberly, continues a new series of shows at DON'T TELL MAMA(343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) with TANYA MOBERLY SINGS AMY - ANI - RICKI - JONI with musical director Ritt Henn. Performances are scheduled for Friday, September 16th at 7:00 pm; Friday, September 30th at 7:00 pm; and Wednesday, October 5th at 7:00 pm. Additional shows are scheduled, featuring several accompanists, through December. The show features songs by: Amy Winehouse, Ani DeFranco, Ricki Lee Jones, and Joni Mitchell. Award-winning recording artist and entertainer Marieann Meringolo brings her brand new show 'Between Yesterday and Tomorrow: The Songs of Alan & Marilyn Bergman' back to New York City and FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) to wow her audiences for 3 more eve-nings! Performances are scheduled for Fridays, September 23rd & 30th at 9:30 pm, and Friday, October 7th at 7:00 pm. She is joined on stage by Musical Director, Pianist, Arranger Doyle Newmyer and on Bass, Boots Maleson and Drums, Sipho Kunene. Director is Will Nunziata. The theatrical concerts will celebrate the 3-Time Academy Award winning songwriting team of Alan & Marilyn Bergman. Having written the lyrics for numerous television shows, films, and stage musicals, the Bergman's also wrote for some of the best artists of our time: Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Tony Bennett, Michael Jackson, Johnny Mathis, and most notably Barbra Streisand - who has recorded 64 of their songs. Directed by Will Nunziata, the show will keep your foot tapping, mind thinking, soul yearning, and heart soaring. Songs include "The Way We Were", "How Do You Keep The Music Playing", "Where Do You Start", "Nice 'n' Easy", "That Face", "The Windmills of Your Mind", "It Might Be You", and many more.
