Jan Peters, with Tom LaMark on piano, hold court on Thursday, June 30th from 8:00 to 11:00 pm at CLUB CAFE (209 Columbus Avenue, Boston, MA - 617-536-0966). Join them for a night of good music, food, friends and fun, open mic too! Jan Peters is a Eugene O'Neill Cabaret Symposium Fellow whose work draws from an extensive repertoire of popular Broadway and standard songs as well as material from promising new songwriters. In addition to her cabaret work, Jan performs throughout the country accompanied by ensembles ranging from intimate jazz groups to large swing orchestras and appears at many of Boston's best nightclubs and hotels. Past performances include Mabel Mercer's 21st Anniversary Celebration at Lincoln Center in New York, the debut of her new show, "I Feel A Song Coming OnÆ at The Cultural Center Theater in Port Charlotte, Florida, The Jazz On A Sunday Afternoon Performance Series in New Hampshire and Boston's Riverside Theater Works Cabaret Festival.Reservations recommended.
