NYC: MARILYN MAYE REPRISES HER NEW YEAR'S EVE SHOW IN JANUARY
Marilyn Maye plans to keep the New Year's Eve party going at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) with three additional by-request shows, Wednesday through Friday, January 4th through 6th at 7:00 pm. "Marilyn By Request," is the show in which Maye and her Billy Stritch-led band will create a new show based on audience requests. (Audience members will be asked for song suggestions when making their reservations.) Since she returned to New York in October 2006 after a 15-year absence, Maye has introduced an entirely new generation to a fun-loving performance style that once was the hallmark of large rooms and nightclubs across the country. There is a $30 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
