NYC: JOHN PIZZARELLI & JESSICA MOLASKEY: "WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE"
THE CAFE CARLYLE (35 East 76th Street, NYC - 212-744-1600 ) present John Pizzarelli & Jessica Molaskey, the gifted musical husband-and-wife team, with their show "When Worlds Collide," November 1st through 26th. Performances are Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8:45 pm with additional shows on Fridays and Saturdays at 10:45 pm. Mr. & Mrs. Pizzarelli will offer an all-new program entitled where they will fuse songs of their generation with traditional jazz ... Chet Baker meets Joni Mitchell, Billy Joel meets Joao Gilberto, Stephen Sondheim meets Billy Joel, The Allman Brothers meets Wes Montgomery, Donald Fagen meets Thad Jones. Mr. Pizzarelli (guitar and vocals) will lead a quartet consisting of younger brother Martin Pizzarelli (bass), Larry Fuller (piano) and Tony Tedesco (drums). There is a $90 cover Tuesday through Thursday and a $100 cover for shows on Friday and Saturday.
