NYC: ELIZABETH TRYON AT FEINSTEIN'S TWO NIGHTS IN AUGUST
FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY in association with Donald Schaffer Management & Entertainment and Ward Morehouse III present Elizabeth Tryon in her show "Where The Music Takes Me" at FEINSTEIN'S at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue, NYC - 212-339-4095) on Tuesdays, August 2nd & 16th at 8:30 pm. Ms. Tryon's selections will range from George Gershwin's "Someone to Watch Over Me" to Stephen Sondheim's "Everybody Says Don't" and "Putting it Together" to original songs by Ms. Tryon, one of which was chosen as the soundtrack to a moving tribute video honoring the U.S. Armed Forces and their families, to an opera aria by Donizetti ("Chacun le Sait" from the opera Fille du Regiment). Musical director and pianist is Doug Oberhamer, with Sean Harkness on guitar, and additional direction by Joel Vig. There is a $30 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
