NYC: JAMIE DEROY & FRIENDS CELEBRATES START OF 21st SEASON
FEATURED CABARET FESTIVAL EVENT
Acclaimed cabaret performer Jamie deRoy will kick off her 21st Anniversary Season of her multi MAC Award-winning variety show, Jamie deRoy & friends, with a cabaret evening filled with song, humor, and fun on Wednesday, July 27th at 7:00 pm at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440). Joining Jamie on July 27th: actress/singer/dancer, known on the West End and Broadway, Helen Anker, playing an eclectic mix of folk-rock; the West End's prince of cabaret and stage, singer Andrew Halliday; MAC Award-winning guitarist Sean Harkness; MAC Award-winning composer/ lyricist/ performer Mary Liz McNamara; and Emmy Award-winning comedian Kevin Meaney. The award-winning director Barry Kleinbort will stage the evening and Christopher Denny will serve as musical director. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
