Singer Parker Scott joins with Dylan Bandy, Lauren Frankovich and Dathan B.Williams in Operatically Speaking, a new cabaret experience at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Sunday October 31st at 3:00 pm. This is opera on an intimate scale, blurring the line between stage, concert and cabaret. The performances are fueled with passion and honesty, and humor. The music comes from the worlds of opera, operetta and Broadway, featuring the works of Beethoven, Bernstein, Bizet, Copland, Gordon, Handel, Lalo, Lehar, Monteverdi, Rimsky-Korsakov and Sondheim. Individually, the cast has performed in venues in New York from Carnegie Hall to Broadway to Off-Off Broadway and has also appeared throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Conductor Peter Szep is the music director. Audrey Saint-Gil will be at the piano. The show is directed by Gerry Geddes and Mr. Williams.
