MARCH IS CABARET MONTH
Chicago based Three Cat Productions has just announced Three Cat Education and "A Summer in the Theater" programs that will be offered at THE SKOKIE THEATRE (7924 Lincoln Avenue, Skokie, IL - 847-677-7761 - ) beginning in June 2010. Lead by Jacque Lueken, Three Cat Education Executive Director, "A Summer in the Theater" will offer children and teens an opportunity to experience the world of theater and cabaret in a safe nurturing environment. Exploring musicals, plays, cabaret, and show choir, the camps will teach kids the fundamentals of performance with potential opportunities to appear in one of Three Cat Productions "Cabaret Concerts" as well as in venues throughout the Chicagoland area. "A Summer in the Theater" runs from June 14th to August 20th this summer. There are sections of various lengths and costs, and this sounds like a terrific program for youngsters.
