NYC: TISH ONEY'S PEGGY LEE PROJECT AT THE TRIAD

L.A.-based jazz singer/arranger/pianist Tish Oney joins Grammy-winning guitarist John Chiodini to present The Peggy Lee Project on Sunday, January 10th at 7:00 pm at THE TRIAD (158 West 72nd Street, NYC - 212-362-2590 - ). Tish and John put this tribute together with help from Peggy Lee's family and The Peggy Lee Foundation to share Ms. Lee's amazing songwriting talents with a new generation of fans. Oney's and Chiodini's latest album, Dear Peg, attained 2010 Grammy Award consideration for Best Jazz Vocal Album and Best Traditional Pop Album. Collaborating with Ellington, Arlen, Mandel and several other favorite Great American Songbook composers, Lee belongs among the greatest lyricists of all time. Dr. Oney's updated jazz arrangements of her songs should delight audiences of all ages. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
