Lucille Carr-Kaffashan returns this fall to her cabaret home, NYC's legendary DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788). Along with musical director and accompanist, David Brunetti, Lucille will present three performances of her celebrated cabaret show, Finding Home. Performance dates are Friday, October 30th at 7:30 pm, and Sunday, November 8th at 5:00 pm. Finding Home, directed by Lina Koutrakos, brings the listener on a nostalgic journey that explores our various concepts of "home". The program reflects Lucille's diverse musical interests, featuring selections from musical theater giants such as Stephen Sondheim, Jerry Herman, and Cole Porter, alongside those of contemporary singer-songwriters such as Randy Newman, Joni Mitchell, Billy Joel, Neil Sedaka, and Annie Dinerman. Lucille's previous cabaret outings included the critically acclaimed shows, In My Life, A Celebration of Beatles Music and Both Sides Now. Lucille performed for a number of years in the regional productions of the New Jersey-based Entertainers Theater before developing her first cabaret act. Since her Don't Tell Mama debut in 1999, she has presented seven different one-woman shows at clubs in New York City, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, including Mama Rose's, The Encore, The Meadows, Helen's, Odette's, and The Stockton Inn. She also has appeared as a guest performer in special productions at The Laurie Beechman Theater and The Metropolitan Room.
