A benefit for Help is on the Way Today will be presented on Saturday, July 25th at 7:30 pm at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - http://www.metropolitanroom.com/ ) Hosted by Lina Koutrakos and Lennie Watts the show will feature an evening of cabaret artists reinterpreting Broadway classics. Help Is On The Way Today is a non-for-profit that Joseph Macchia founded in 2007 to help and assist children living with HIV and AIDS. Scheduled to perform are Lisa Asher, Mary Foster Conklin, Jenna Esposito, Terese Genecco, David Gurland, Karen Mason, Sidney Myer, Julie Reyburn and KT Sullivan with more to be added. Musical Direction is by Steven Ray Watkins. There is a $20 cover plus a 2 drink minimum.
