His love of music grew, and he soon auditioned and was invited to join the prestigious American Boychoir School in Princeton, NJ. There, he studied diligently under the tutelage of conductors Craig Denison and Dr. James Litton. Under their direction, Forest has been privileged to perform in Germany and around the country at venues such as Carnegie Hall. City greens need constant attention, repair and upkeep. Music and Art for City Greens helps by producing free professional music and art events to build community awareness and increase donations to spaces which otherwise might go wanting.

Since 2008, when Broadway actress and award winning cabaret veteran Raissa Katona Bennett first brought the joy of live music to Tudor City, thousands of people have enjoyed these concerts under the trees and have come away with new appreciation for and dedication to the green spaces in their midst.

Music and Art for City Greens is a 501c3 non-profit, and all performers and support people generously donate their time and talent for these events. 100% of all donations given by attendees at this summer concert series are collected directly by the Tudor City Greens organization for the upkeep of these spaces.

NYC: LYNN HENDERSON'S "IF WE ONLY HAVE LOVE" CD AVAILABLE

Lynn Henderson's memories as a singer date back to grade school when she wore out a recording of "It's Magic" singing along with Doris Day. Throughout her life, singing has been her passion. From big band vocalist to saloon singer to Handel soloist to cabaret singer, it has all been a joy! The chapters of her life from single New Yorker to wife, mom, equestrienne, businesswoman, divorcee and world traveler all contribute to her selection of songs that speak to me. Life has given Lynn a finer appreciation of great songs and a deeper understanding of what the extraordinary musical poets are telling us. Welcome to Lynn's world!

Lynn's new CD, titled "If We Only Have Love", was released on September 15, 2014. Since enjoying these songs with her audiences and wonderful musicians over the last couple of years at the Metropolitan Room in New York City and all over CT., Lynn has been encouraged to share them with a larger audience.

You can purchase the CD at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/lynnhenderson2

Why we do this: Research shows that time spent in nature makes people healthier, happier and more creative, and that communities flourish where green spaces thrive. But staying green requires green!

The organization will continue to produce at Tudor City Greens, while actively promoting creative and inclusive uses of other public green spaces.

Adoption is expensive. Statistics say that an average adoption costs upwards of $30,000. The magnitude and uncertainty of these expenses is a significant obstacle standing in the way of permanent homes for the more than 150 million children around the globe who need parents. Through the generous contributions of donors, Helpusadopt.org is able to assist others in overcoming the financial obstacles they face when seeking to adopt. Helpusadopt.org's average grant is approximately $8,500 and since the organization's launch in 2007, Helpusadopt.org has helped to build 134 families by awarding over $1,000,000 in total adoption grants. For more information, please see their web site at http://www.Helpusadopt.org/ . There is a $25 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.
