The record has been hailed by fans and press alike as one of the best albums to emerge in 2015, and as a momentous artistic step from an up-and-coming talent. The singer-songwriter, who has called New York City his home for his entire adult life, teamed up with veteran producer Godfrey Diamond (Lou Reed, Etta James, Aerosmith) and longtime David Bowie collaborators Carlos Alomar and Robin Clark to create a soul-drenched paean to the uncertainties of burgeoning adulthood. It's a deceptively fluid amalgam of soul, gospel, folk, and dance-funk grafted on to the classic 70's-infused singer-songwriting Bronson has become known for. The evening will include the world premiere of an original short film showing the story of the album's creation, in addition to a full set with David and the Questions band. Lowrey began performing when he was 12 years old and has forged a veritable path of success ever since. As co-writer on Zac Brown Band's CMA Awards nominated song, "Colder Weather," Lowrey's signature style of poignant honesty, both dark and light, acts like a salve for kindred souls. Drawing inspiration from the struggles and triumphs of his own life, Lowrey lays his heart on his sleeve, reassuring us that we're not alone. There is a $12 cover.

Special Guest is Gloria Loring, a singer, songwriter, and actor who is best known as "Liz Chandler" on Days Of Our Lives, the recording artist of the #1 hit song "Friends and Lovers," and as co-composer and singer of the TV theme for Facts Of Life. For the 59th Kritzerland show, for only the second time in their history, they will salute a pop songwriter who came to prominence in the late 1960s- the great Paul Williams. From his breakout hit, "We've Only Just Begun" (originally written for a Crocker Bank commercial), Williams amassed an astonishing number of classics very quickly, including "Rainy Days and Mondays," "Just An Old-Fashioned Love Song," "Let Me Be the One," "I Won't Last a Day Without You," and "You and Me Against the World." Additionally, he wrote several film musicals, including Brian De Palma's Phantom of the Paradise, Alan Parker's Bugsy Malone, Jim Henson's The Muppet Movie (which produced one of his biggest hits, the Oscar-nominated song "The Rainbow Connection"), and the Barbra Streisand version of A Star is Born (for which he won the Oscar for "Evergreen"). He also penned songs for the films Cinderella Liberty (with John Williams), The Secret of NIMH (with Jerry Goldsmith), Agatha (with Johnny Mandel) and many others.
