S.F.: CHRISTINE EBERSOLE - THE CARLYLE SHOW

Two-time Tony winner (Grey Gardens, 42nd Street) and former Saturday Night Live cast member Christine Ebersole graces the Bay Area Cabaret stage, following her recent Broadway run opposite Angela Lansbury in Blithe Spirit and her sold-out evenings with Michael Feinstein at Feinstein's at the Regency, will be appearing on Sunday, April 25th at 5:00 pm at the COMMANDANTS ROOM OF THE MARINES MEMORIAL CLUB (609 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-673-6672). The show is part of the Bay Area Cabaret series. Ms. Ebersole and John Oddo, musical director for Michael Feinstein and Rosemary Clooney, will bring a brand new show, which will debut at the Cafe Carlyle in 2010. S.F.: FREDA PAYNE AT THE RRAZZ ROOM

Platinum-selling chanteuse Freda Payne will perform at San Francisco's RRAZZ ROOM at THE HOTEL NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-394-1189 ) Tuesday through Sunday, April 20th through 25th at 8:00 pm (Sunday at 7:00 pm). Freda has entertained music aficionados the world over with a vocal style reminiscent of the all-time greats of pop, jazz, and R&B. Freda's illustrious career began in the 1960s, as she was often coupled with the likes of Duke Ellington, Bill Cosby, Pearl Bailey, and Quincy Jones in memorable stage performances. In short order, Freda's versatility captured the attention of Hollywood producers who subsequently secured roles for her in feature films, such as The Nutty Professor: The Klumps. Freda even hosted her own television talk show in the 1980s. Two of her timeless singles, "Band of Gold" and "Bring the Boys Home," will be performed with a plethora of exciting numbers.
