Three Cat Media presents the third annual Barbra Streisand Birthday Celebration at THE SKOKIE THEATRE (7924 Lincoln Avenue, Skokie, IL - 847-677-7761 ) on Friday & Saturday, April 23rd & 24th at 8:00 pm and Sunday, April 25th at 2:00 pm. "Bab Fab 2: Happy Days are Back Again" celebrates the musical career of the legendary Barbra Streisand. The weekend celebration begins with an evening with Barbra Streisand activist Matt Howe on April 23rd. Matt's passion for the life and career of Barbra Streisand has not only inspired him to create one of the most thorough informational websites on Barbra, but has gained the respect and admiration of several of Barbra's creative associates and top people in the entertainment industry. "Bab Fab" will continue on April 24th at 8:00 pm and April 25th at 2:00 pm with "A Barbra Streisand Musical Celebration." This performance will cover Streisand's fantastic musical career, from her early days in Greenwich Village to her incredible rise to super stardom. Rob Dorn escorts audiences through a Streisand musical timeline assisted by some of Chicago's leading cabaret and musical theater talent, including Amy Cole, Elizabeth Dowling, Hilary Ann Feldman, Laura Freeman, Scott Gryder, Beckie Menzie, Tom Michael, Marianne Murphy Orland, Jason Paul Smith and more. Tickets are $25.

EVERYTHING OLD IS NEW AGAIN, on the Radio over WBAI 99.5 FM and on the Internet at http://www.wbai.org/, usually heard from 9:00 to 11:00 pm on Sundays, and is hosted by David Kenney. Each week David presents the usual blend of big-band jazz, swing, standards, showtunes, contemporary cabaret and celebrity interviews plus MEGA-MEDLEY MADNESS. On Sunday, April 25th, the show continues its new format, featuring several artists instead of one. This week David will feature "Sharing The SPOTLIGHT!" with special looks at Barbara Streisand and the late Claiborne Cary. N.Y.STATE: NANCY TIMPANARO-HOGAN IN "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BARBRA"

The CABARET AT FORT SALEM THEATER (11 East Broadway, Salem, NY - 518-854-9200) continues its 2010 season on Saturday, April 24th at 8:00 pm with Nancy Timpanaro-Hogan in "Happy Birthday, Barbra Streisand." The international Cabaret Star sings Barbra's best tunes in a rousing celebration of the diva's sixty-eighth birthday. In 2001, Nancy moved back to her native Saratoga County after twenty-five years as one of the leading lights during the golden age of the Manhattan cabaret scene. An outstanding singer with impeccable comic timing, Nancy Timpanaro garnered rave reviews from the New York Times, Post and Daily News while receiving the most coveted recognition from her performing and producing peers: two MAC and four Bistro Awards. She regularly opened for Joan Rivers and has successfully brought her cabaret show to nightclubs and supper clubs around the world. Before her night at Fort Salem, Nancy will have just completed a run at Cohoes Music Hall as Mama Rose in the Broadway classic, Gypsy. Tickets are $20 (includes $5 credit for dessert and coffee)
