Back Stage Bistro Award winning recording artist and Broadway performer Rebecca Spencer will inaugurate the new Sorting Room series at THE WALLIS ANNENBERG CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS (9390 North Santa Monica Boulevard, Beverly Hills, CA - 310-746-4000 - http://www.thewallis.org/ ). Rebecca is recognized both nationally and internationally in the cabaret and concert worlds for her signature contemporary art song, lyric driven arrangements that seamlessly fuse classical and contemporary composers. Rebecca now lives in Los Angeles. Together with virtuoso concert pianist Philip Fortenberry (HBO's Behind the Candelabra), the longtime musical partners will create a musical soundscape that offers intimate inspirational theatricality and romantic impressionism, with a sprinkling of new arrangements that are inspired by the holiday season.
