Lynn Henderson will be sharing songs by Jerry Herman, Charles Aznavour, Billy Joel, The Gershwins, Doug Cohen, Amanda McBroom and many more in her new show at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Thursday, September 8th; Tuesday, September 13th; and Sunday, September 25th - all shows at 7:00 pm. She is joined on stage by Douglas J. Cohen, winner of the NoĆ«l Coward Prize, Fred Ebb Award and two Richard Rodgers awards will accompany Lynn on piano & vocals, joined by bassist, Bob Sabin; Bassist: Robert Sabin; and Guest Artists: dancer Christine Perone, owner and lead singer (with Lance Zitron) of the popular Stomp Society Swing Band in NYC; and tapper Aaron Tolson. NYC: LUCILLE CARR-KAFFASHAN SINGS THE PRAISES OF 21ST CENTURY FEMALE SINGER-SONGWRITERS!

MAC/Hanson Award Winner Lucille Carr-Kaffashan returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) to reprise her latest show "Unwritten, Celebrating 21st Century Female Singer-Songwriters." Her prior two cabaret outings were celebrations of the music of The Beatles, and of 1970's female singer-songwriters. She continues this tradition when she brings this critically acclaimed show back to Don't Tell Mama, New York City's legendary cabaret theater and piano bar. With musical director Jeff Cubeta on piano and back-up vocals, Sean Harkness on guitar, and Matt Scharfglass on bass, Lucille will perform Unwritten on Thursday, October 6th, at 7:00 pm; Sunday, October 9th, at 5:00 pm; and Thursday, October 13th, at 7:00 pm. With direction by David Hilder, this show features a diverse collection of 21st century songs written by outstanding artists such as Adele, Annie Lennox, Sara Bareilles, Susan Werner, Meghan Trainor and Tracy Chapman. The program reflects the voices of women in their early 20s as well as those in their 60s, and every decade in between, opening a window to the hearts and minds of contemporary women. Lucille is the recipient of the prestigious Hanson Award, presented each year to one individual by MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets). Lucille performed for a number of years in the regional productions of the New Jersey-based Entertainers Theater before developing her first cabaret act. Since her Don't Tell Mama debut in 1999, she has presented ten different one-woman shows at clubs in New York City, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, including Mama Rose's, The Encore, Helen's, Odette's, The Stockton Inn, and Bob Egan's Cabaret Supper Club. She has also appeared as a guest performer in special productions at the Laurie Beechman Theater and the Metropolitan Room in NYC, and Tim McCloone's Supper Club in Asbury Park. NYC: SAM FAZIO PERFORMS "NEW YORK STATE OF MIND" - OCTOBER 8th

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551), presents Chicago-based vocalist Sam Fazio as he returns to Manhattan for his new show, New York State of Mind, on October 8th at 9:30 pm. Sam will celebrate the people, places, and performers who make New York City one of the greatest cities in the world. Sam will perform songs from Billy Strayhorn to Billy Joel, and everything in between - all in Sam's fresh, yet classic style. Hear songs like Take the A Train, Manhattan, How About You and of course, New York State of Mind. Sam is joined by fellow Chicago-based musician, Chris White, on piano. Chris also serves as musical director for the show. Fazio can be seen regularly at many venues throughout the Chicagoland area, including the Coq d'Or at the historic Drake Hotel. Sam has performed at legendary jazz clubs, including Andy's, Cliff Bell's Green Mill, Pete Miller's and Jazz Showcase. Sam has also performed at many festivals and performing arts centers across the country. Sam's repertoire includes a unique mix of American standards, swing tunes and pop classics. His heartfelt interpretations bring new life to the standards and showcase his current, yet classic style. Sam's phrasing and storytelling is said to be reminiscent of the great Sinatra at his best - although Sam is definitely his own man. Call for reservations and cover/minimum information.
