LONDON: WORBEY AND FARRELL AT THE CRAZY COQS
Party with Worbey and Farrell at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Thursday through Saturday, September 24th through 26th, where four hands and one piano raise the roof. Following sell-out shows at Crazy Coqs and the Edinburgh festival, the internationally acclaimed piano duo bring their unique touch to the world's greatest music. Expect spectacular arrangements, original compositions and sensational piano playing. Revolutionary in their treatment of the traditional piano duet, they push the boundaries of the instrument using it to illuminate music of every style - classical, popular and contemporary. From Bach to Lily Allen, from reggae to Rachmaninov, the ingenuity of these amazing musicians makes you laugh and takes your breath away. Prepare to be moved, delighted and utterly gobsmacked. LONDON: OPEN MIC NIGHT IS BACK AT THE CRAZY COQS
Harold Sanditen, jazz-cabaret singer and veteran theatre producer, is host of Open Mic Night at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) every Thursday at 10:30 pm, ably supported by regular musicians Michael Roulston on piano and Jonty Fisher on bass. It is always an entertaining evening full of fun and surprise. Aimed at both the jazz and theatrical communities, The Crazy Coqs Open Mic Night welcomes all singers, composers and musicians, up & coming and established, who want to do a turn, performing new material or old favourites. For the audience, come and catch that proverbial 'rising star' (or possibly a famous West End name) in the intimate, "jewel-box" surroundings of The Crazy Coqs. Call for cover/ minimum information.
