NYC: JUDY AND LIZA AT DON'T TELL MAMA!

Now in it's 5th Year, "Judy and Liza Together Again", starring internationally acclaimed entertainers Rick Skye and Tommy Femia, named "Best Duo"in 2012 by MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets), has been Extended Again at DON'T TELL MAMA(343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) with performances scheduled for Saturdays, July 18th and 25th at 8:00 pm. Musical Director: Ricky Ritzel (as Mort/Pappy). Teaming up for an evening of "Just POW!", these MAC and Bistro Award winning performers pull out all the stops, singing classic solo's, parodies, duets and just plain whooping and hollering by the greatest mother/daughter team in show biz history. Tommy Femia is a 7 time winner of the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) Award for his brilliant portrayal of Judy Garland in "Judy Garland LIVE!", now in it's 20th season at Don't Tell Mama. He has also starred in "Whoop-de-doo", "I Will Come Back" and, most recently, "Norma Does Men". Rick Skye is a multi award winning performer, who has written a string of outrageous comic revues including "The Flip Side of Neil Sedaka" (Bistro Award winning performance), "MaCabaret - a tabloid fable", "The War of the Mama Roses", "It's Madame with an E" (performed with his indefatigable co-star - the one and only Madame), "Barbra and Liza LIVE!" (Leicester Theater and Dublin Theatre Festival) and the International hit - "A Slice O' Minnelli" (MAC Award - Best Impersonation) which has enjoyed successful season's in Covent Garden, at the Apollo Theatre in London's West End and at the Dublin Theatre Festival where he received the Award for "Best Achievement in Performance". "Judy and Liza Together Again" premiered at The Rising Action Theater in Ft. Lauderdale to great acclaim and has since toured the Richmond Triangle Theater, Actors Theater of Minnesota, The Palace Theater in Danbury, Connecticut and Martini's Over Eighth in San Diego. NYC: LE SCANDAL CABARET CONTINUES AT THE BEECHMAN

NYC's longest running burlesque variety show, LE SCANDAL CABARET, continues on Saturdays, at 10:30 pm at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909). In its fourteenth year, Le Scandal features variety acts, circus performers, live music and a bevy of burlesque beauties. New performers every week! Expect sword swallowers, belly dancers, rope trick cowboys, contortionists, torch singing fan dancers and comedic aerobats, all set to the live music of the Le Scandal Orchestra. NYC: NEW YORK, WE LOVE YOU. (BUT DAMN IT'S HARD TO LIVE ON DANCE AND POETRY)

Nomi Wiersma, a 20 something choreographer/ poet/ musician creature who moved to NYC from Kitchener, Ontario, performs at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438 - ) on Saturday, July 18th at 9:30 pm. She quickly discovered the bliss of venting her spleen through poetry. Nomi recently graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy where she first started exploring the fusion of poetry and dance, something she plans to further pursue. A recent graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Shany Dagan is a 23-yr-old Israeli dancer and pianist who moved to NYC where she discovered her potential in singing and acting. Shany is currently seeking professional employment in theater and dance. Their performance is a showcase of interpretive dance poetry as seen by two out-of-towners trying to fake it in New York. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: JACOB STORMS' "GIVE MY REGARDS TO BROADWAY"

Vocalist Jacob Storms brings his show "Give My Regards to Broadway" to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, July 18th at 1:00 pm. The show is a musical journey and tribute to The Great White Way told through the eternal words & music of Irving Berlin, Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim, Jerome Kern & Oscar Hammerstein II plus some special surprises along the way! There is a $24 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: SOUNDS OF THE CITY: THE GIRL GROUPS

Matt Beckoff hosts an evening of storytelling with four legendary ladies of the girl group era at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, July 18th at 3:30 pm. Featuring La La Brooks (former lead singer of The Crystals) Barbara Harris (original lead singer of The Toys) Margaret Ross Williams (lead singer of The Cookies) and Arlene Smith (original lead singer of The Chantels). They will discuss recording their classic hits, "Maybe" "Da Doo Ron Ron", "Chains", "A Lover's Concerto" "Then He Kissed Me", to name a few and reveal what it was like working with musical icons such as cArole King, Phil Spector, Neil Sedaka, Gene Pitney, and others. There is a $30 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: BEVERLY TIKI AT THE METROPOLITAN ROOM

Beverly Taki will perform on Saturday, July 18th at 7:00 pm at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440). Beverly has performed at the Plaza Hotel, Theater East, Delmonico Hotel, Caroline's Comedy Club on Broadway, and The United Nations, all in New York City, and in major hotels in Las Vegas, Reno, Tahoe besides touring extensively in Europe. Musical Director is David Shenton. There is a $22.50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: GREGORY NALBONE - THE SOUNDS OF MY HEART

Gregory Nalbone, the man with the pulse-raising looks and heart-melting voice, returns once again to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, July 18th at 9:30 pm. Inspired by a spectrum of emotions, Gregory presents The Sounds of My Heart, bringing his magnificent vocals and a sexy vibe to a raw, soul-bearing journey that features a wide array of musical styles. He's appeared at New York City's Laurie Beechman Theatre, The Duplex, The Box, and more, all to rave reviews. Now he's backed by the inimitable Kenneth Gartman on piano and directed by award-winning Lennie Watts. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: LATE NIGHT WITH THEA BROOKS - CIGARETTES AND CHOCOLATE MILK

Thea Brooks brings her show 'Cigarettes And Chocolate Milk' to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) on Saturday, July 18th at 11:30 pm. Musical Direction and Accompaniment by Jody Schum. Thea is making her debut at the Metropolitan Room with her first ever solo cabaret act. This has been a dream of hers for as long as she can remember. Thea is just returning from playing 'Lucy" in the ten month National Tour of "I Love Lucy, Live On Stage". Other credits include Dirty Dancing (First National Tour, u/s Baby), Greater Angels (Exit Pursued By A Bear), A Lion in Winter (Ensemble Theater Santa Barbara), After the Fall (The Chain Theater), Jewtopia (Greenway Court, LA). There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
