NYC: THE TED & LO SHOW: "THIS MAY HURT A BIT"

The award-winning Ted & Lo Show, starring Lorinda Lisitza and Ted Stafford, returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - ) on Friday, February 14th at 7:15 pm. "This May Hurt a Bit" is the title of both this second episode of The Ted & Lo Show and a Lisitza/Stafford original song featured in the set. As Lisitza sings "I'm gonna break you down," the duo begins a guided tour of evil and the human psyche. The songs search the minds of serial killers and doomed pop royalty for impulses and fears common to us all. "Hold on," sings Lisitza. When you get down to the heart of the matter, love is still stronger than hate. Truth and beauty reside in the shared experience of music. Ted & Lo deliver a one-two punch that will make you laugh and cry at the same time. This may hurt a bit. Lisitza & Ted Stafford met in 2011 and have been singing together ever since. Their tasty arrangements of well-known covers, obscure new music, and original compositions prove that one guitar, one harmonica, and two voices can sound as big as an arena rock band or as immediate as the listener's own conscience. There is a $10 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
