CABARET TONIGHT IN TORONTO: CROONER COLIN HUNTER WITH "THE JOE SEALY QUARTET"

CABARET TONIGHT IN TORONTO: CROONER COLIN HUNTER WITH "THE JOE SEALY QUARTET"

Crooner Colin Hunter will perform at THE JAZZ BISTRO (251 Victoria Street, Toronto, ONT, CA - 416-363-5299) on Wednesday, September 11th at 9:00 pm. A classic artist is always in style - in fact, many of our most iconic male vocalists (such as Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis, etc.) continue to speak to multi-generational audiences by introducing them to the beauty and majesty of The Great American Songbook. Colin Hunter is just such an artist - a sophisticated and swinging balladeer with unfailing musicality and impeccable taste in material. Just like another "Chairman of the Board", Colin is a man of many interests whose stage charisma informs his business pursuits - and vice a versa. He is truly a citizen of the world, having been born in Bombay and educated in India and The United Kingdom. Colin Hunter has a fluid, melodic vocal style, and he imbues every tune with his unique stamp. In 2007, Colin released his second recording, Timeless. The CD is currently being re-released on Select Distribution (along with Colin's complete five CD Catalogue), and features some twenty classic big-band hits as well as popular standards from the fifties, sixties and seventies. Colin has entertained enthusiastic audiences all over the world, and two of his favourite performances include a memorable concert at Montreal's "Espace Dell'Arte" in 2006, and a standing-room-only performance at the 800 seat Theatre du Palais Municipal in La Baie in the Saguenay region of Quebec.
