NYC: HARRY ALLEN'S MONDAY NIGHT JAZZ AT FEINSTEIN'S ON SUNDAY

The Statesmen of Jazz and Arbors Records are pleased to announce that Harry Allen's Monday Night Jazz has been extended for the first Monday of every month in 2012 at FEINSTEIN'S at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue, NYC - 212-339-4095), with dining and dancing from 7:00 to 8:00 pm followed by a jazz concert until 10:00 pm. Featured on Sunday, December 2nd (please note change of day) is George Wein and the Newport All Stars. With the closing of FEINSTEIN'S at the end of the year, this will be the final show of the series. Swing Bros. recording artist Harry Allen has over thirty recordings to his name. Three of Harry's CDs have won Gold Disc Awards from Japan's Swing Journal Magazine, and his CD Tenors Anyone? won both the Gold Disc Award and the New Star Award. His recordings have made the top ten list for favorite new releases in Swing Journal Magazine's reader's poll and Jazz Journal International's critic's poll for 1997, and Eu Nao Quero Dancar (I Won't Dance), the third Gold Disc Award winner, was voted second for album of the year for 1998 by Swing Journal Magazine's reader's poll. There is a $20 cover plus a 1-drink minimum.
