NYC: PAMELA LUSS & HOUSTON PERSON "JUST THE TWO OF US AND FRIENDS"
Pamela Luss is returning home to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) for her fourth run, and again, with the legendary Mr. Houston Person on tenor Saxophone. Pamela and Houston, will perform Just the Two of Us and Friendswith an emphasis on the heart of love and home on Thursday, November 15th & Saturday, November 17th, both at 9:30 pm. Pamela has enjoyed successful engagements - and drawn capacity crowds - in many of the top Jazz and Cabaret Clubs. Pamela began working with Houston Person in 2007. His famously beautiful saxophone tone has graced three of Pamela's four albums. Her most recent album, Sweet and Saxy, is a full-length collaboration between the younger singer and the veteran tenor saxophonist with Houston also as producer. The following year, Pamela released a live two song mini-album, titled Bewitched (TV Theme Song), also produced by Houston and introduced by Pamela on national TV on the last Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
