NYC: VICTORIA EDWARDS IN RUNNING IN THE RAIN
RUNNING IN THE RAIN, the newest offering from cabaret chanteuse Victoria Edwards, will be presented on Saturday, October 6th at 7:00 pm at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440). Directed by Barry Kleinbort with musical direction by Christopher Denny. The show celebrates who you become, what you love, and how many push ups your willing to grunt through when you finally and truly grow up. Told through rather funny personal stories and rockin' songs made famous by artists such as Michael Buble, Diana Krall, Karen Mason, P!nk, this show highlights the journey of a splendidly beautiful, maddeningly confusing, perfectly imperfect life. Besides performing her solo cabarets, regional theatre roles like the Leading Player in Pippin (which she also choreographed) and Princess Puffer in Mystery of Edwin Drood, she can be found in the film, tv, and print worlds. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
