NYS: THE SINGING ANCHORS RETURN TO SALEM FOR BROADWAY REVUE
Three of the Capital Region's top-rated television news anchors step out from behind their news desks and once again set sail for Salem, NY this month for their second theatrical musical revue, The Singing Anchors On Broadway. Jerry Gretzinger, Jessica Layton, and Benita Zahn, who have been making music together since 2009 as a group formed for a Fort Salem cabaret, return to the The MAINSTAGE AT FORT SALEM THEATER (11 East Broadway, Salem, NY - 518-854-9200 - ) Fridays & Saturdays, July 13th & 14th and 20th & 21st at 8:00 pm, and Sundays, July 15th & 22nd at 2:00 pm. Following the form of their tremendously successful 2011 offering, The Singing Anchors Go Hollywood, the trio sings several songs together, complemented by duets and solo numbers. The Singing Anchors On Broadway features musical arrangements by Jay Kerr. Tickets are $20.
