NYC: STEP RIGHT UP AND CATCH WITH REEDS & KESSLER
J. Michael Reeds ("The Barker") and Marc McBarron Kessler ("The Poet/Composer") join forces in their show STEP RIGHT UP ... And Catch" at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - ) on Saturday, June 30th at 4:00 pm. Reeds and Kessler travel through a circus of songs and stories from Kessler's New York City diaries. Those who appreciate Kessler's candid story-telling in his underground zine "The Stripewriter" are sure to enjoy his starving-artist reflections of life in New York City when he arrived there in the autumn of 2001. Actor/Dancer/Singer J. Michael Reeds, from the upcoming musical Puppet Show, performs Kessler's material with emotional rawness. Call for cover/minimum information.
