NYC: THE NEW YORK SHEET MUSIC SOCIETY MEETS MAY 12th at 12:30 PM
THE NEW YORK SHEET MUSIC SOCIETY, established in 1980, continues it's 2011-2012 Season on Saturday, May 12th at LOCAL 802 MUSICIANS' HALL (322 West 48th Street, NYC) with its 11th Annual Songwriter Series produced by Sandi Durell. The event opens at 12:30 pm with a flea market where you can buy and/or trade sheet music and memorabilia. The show runs from 2:00 to 3:30 pm. The performance features Marci Geller, Tom Toce, Johnny Rodgers, Elizabeth Sullivan David Gaines & Michele Foor, Patrick Cook & Frederick Freyer, Raymond Bokhour & Simon Gray. You can join the society online at http://www.nysms.org/ for only $50 per year, entitling you to nine fabulous programs/meetings and nine lively newsletters from October through June. Non-member guest fee is $10.
