Deborah Pearl's "Tribute to Benny Carter" show will be presented on Thursday, November 3rd at 8:00 pm at VITELLO'S (4349 Tujunga Avenue, Studio City, CA - 818-769-0905). Ms. Pearl will be accompanied by The Lou Forestieri Trio & Guest Artist, Don Shelton on saxophone and flute. The show is a glorious evening of the stunning instrumental melodies of jazz legend Benny Carter with the lyrics of singer/lyricist Deborah Pearl from her CD "Souvenir of you - New Lyrics to Benny Carter Classics." It includes stories of this remarkable man and genius musician, tales from his 80 year career, and the heart-warming love story that inspired many of the lyrics.
