NYC: KIM SMITH HOSTS VAUXHALL KABARETT - OCTOBER EDITION
Award-winning Australian performer Kim Smith serves as resident host of "Vauxhall Kabarett," a a monthly menagerie of live musical treats, sampled from the nether regions of Manhattan nightlife, and worlds beyond at VLADA LOUNGE (331 West 51st Street, NYC - 212-974-8030) starting at 9:00 pm. Taking inspiration from both 1920s Berlin boy-bars and 1950s New York nightlife, VAUXHALL features taut, shirtless bar boys, absinthe cocktails and a glittering parade of musical guests. Guests, on Monday, October 3rd, are Rebecca Elliott and Jonathan Whitton. As usual, Kim will play host and sing of pop-tastic Weimar heartbreak. There is no cover charge.
