NYC: FREE OUTDOOR CONCERTS RETURN TO TUDOR CITY GREENS!
The new season of the Tudor City Greens FREE outdoor concert series resumes on Wednesday, June 22nd at 6:30 pm (Rain date: Thursday, June 23rd at 6:00 pm) at TUDOR CITY GREENS OARK (enter at Tudor City Place between East 42nd and East 43rd Streets). This event will feature professional performers from Broadway and the New York City cabaret and jazz scene, who all donate their time and talent to benefit the Parks. The concert will be hosted by Tudor City resident, Broadway and cabaret performer Raissa Katona Bennett (Phantom of the Opera, Chess). The guest stars on June 22nd include Australia's Variety Performer of the year Darren Williams; Broadway actor James Moye ("Million Dollar Quartet"); cabaret sensations Will and Anthony Nunziata; MAC and Bistro Award winner Marieann Meringolo; Barbara Porteus and Barry Levitt; Bistro Award winner Janice Hall, and Adam Shapiro ("Jewsical"). Also featured are the new series regulars – the MAC Award-winning guitarist and Windham Hill recording artist Sean Harkness, and the MAC & Bistro Award-winning big band innovator Terese Geneco.
