Wesla Whitfield and Mike Greensill to debut new show, "Whistling Away The Dark", which is also the title track of their 21st and most recent recording, to the RRAZZ ROOM at THE HOTEL NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-394-1189) Tuesdays through Sundays, May 10th through 29th at 7:30 pm (5:00 pm on Sundays). Addressing the challenging times of the present moment, Mike and Wesla focus on the struggles and triumphs being experienced by nearly everyone in 2011. Drawing their material as always from the Great American songbook, the evening has been crafted to include familiar standards such as "The Best Things In Life Are Free" and "Smiling Through" interspersed with a few unexpected musical selections, taking the listener on an introspective journey both uplifting and fun.nThere is a $35-$45 cover plus a 2 drink minimum.
